My mother, Bane Elizabeth CRESS & grandmother, Maud D. BURCH were a couple of "Number please" telephone operators in Newman Grove, Madison Co. NE - during the early 1920's. I am wondering if anyone has any information as to where the office was located and any information about it. Would greatly appreciate any data.
