I'm looking for information on the Emil John Baptiste KAUFFMAN(N)families. Emil was born in Germany on 12-SEP-1871 to John Bob and Magdalena ROHRBACH Kauffmann. He camr e to Amerrica in 1888. He died on 29-MAR-1942 in Valentine-Cherry-NE. Emil's 1st wife was Anna J.BENNING who died in childbirth. They had a daughter, Madelaine J. born on 16-AUG-1902 in Norfolk-Madison-NE. His 2nd wife was Eva Catherine REITER who was born on 12-OCT-1884 in Alton-Sioux-IA to Nic and Maria LUDOWESE Reiter. Emil and Catherine married on 18-JAN-1908 in Norfolk. Catherine died on 16-JUN-1965 in Loup City-Sherman-NE. They owned and operated the E.B. Kauffman Bakery in Norfolk. They had 2 other children: Leo Joseph was born 05-APR-1911 in Norfolk-NE and Evelyn Catherine was born 14-NOV-1916 in MT. Thank you for any help or info you can give me. Theresa R.
