Searching for the exact birth date of Freeman Roy Smith. It states in his obituary that Freeman was born in Norfolk, Nebraska, but unfortunately there were some discrepancies at the time of his death as to what his actual date of birth was and what should go on the headstone and obituary. It is known that he celebrated it on 25 June, but records give various dates such as 1900, 1903 and 1904. It is unclear which of these years it actually should be so it would be helpful to finally be able to find out if anyone might be able to get a hold of his birth certificate. His parents names were Jacob William Smith (who sometimes went by the names J. W. Smith, Will Smith, or John W. Smith in records) and Edith (Bull) Smith. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
