As of the 1910 census, Grover and Helen Dean, with children, are still in Livingston Co., Illinois. So it was apparently after April 21, 1910, that they moved to Nebraska.

In the 1920 census, there is Helen Drestel living in North Platte, NE, with DEAN children Dorothy, Ethel, Edward, Florence, and Ruth, with a new husband and his children. Ruth is age 5 in this census, making her born in 1915 in Nebraska. I'd guess, then, that her father, Grover Dean, was still alive in 1914-15.

I would contact the North Platte City Cemetery or the North Platte historical society to see if they can find the burial place of Grover Dean.
