I am needing information on John J. and Sarah (Davis) Abbott. John is listed in the 1870 census as a storekeeper in Otoe County, Syracuse/Nebraska City preceinct. In 1880 he is listed in Russell Precinct with wife and family. It states in the county history that church services were held in his store in Unadilla in 1873.
His son Forrest is my great-grandfather. I have been unable to gather any additional information. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
