I don't know if you've found any follow-up information on the Tetens, or not, but there's a Jim Teten who lives in Nebraska City and is the cemetery sexton for Wyuka Cemetery itself. I can't think of anyone better than Jim to help you with your research for John J. Teten. Wyuka's contact information is:
