Emory Stone has received word of the death of his brother, Edwin Stone, in Perkins, Neb., Nov. 10. He was a former resident of Hambden, a son of Merritt and Caroline Stone, and about 75 years of age. He settled in Nebraska about 50 years ago, and was a farmer. His wife, who survives, was Rometta Ransom, formerly of Hambden. Mr. Stone has been in failing health for some time. Many old here will regret to learn of his death, and sympathize with the bereaved widow.
