Home-going of Fred S. Nebergall
To everyone even remotely connected to or interested in the Nebergall genealogy, Greetings! This is to inform one and all that Frederick S. Nebergall, formerly of Spokane, Washington, recently of Anaheim, California, has slipped into a coma as of 0600 hours, March 11, 2000, and remains in that condition as of this hour. His breathing is very shallow and intermittent. The hospice nurses say that he may last this way for a couple of days. His immediate family is with him, including Mary, his devoted wife of 64 years; Robert, their son and his wife Elizabeth; Virginia, their only daughter and her husband Jerry and two of their daughters, Diana, and Cheri Melton, and Fred's newest great-granddaughter, Reagan Ashley Melton.
Fred has expressed his desire to "go to be with Jesus."So, by not being able to swallow as a result of radiation treatment for cancer on his neck several years ago, he felt that he was "too tired" to fight the battle any longer. He will be missed by his family and many friends, but we all know he will wake up in the arms of Jesus any minute now.
