Died near Healdsburg, Jul. 30, 1880, Robert NEELLY, aged 61y. Life long partner of James MILLER; NEELLY came to Ca. in 1852 the first time, and in 1853 the second time from Missouri. A native of Tn., he and MILLER crossed the plains together with teams they owned together; deceased never married; leaves 7 brothers and 2 sisters, 3 in Tx.; 2 in Missour; 1 in Montana; and 1 residing here. The whereabouts of the other 2 is unknown; cause of death was some disease of the stomach with dyspepsia.
