Hi, I'm researching the parents of Cornelius van der Werff, b 23 Feb 1895 in South Africa. Father presumably also Cornelius, emigrated from the Netherlands during the 1800's, apparently a shoemaker with his own factory in the Netherlands. Births in the Transvaal province(South africa)were only registerd after 1901, so I'm struggling to find any info on his parents, church denomination also unknown. Hoping to find any info on a Cornelius van der Werff, born possibly around the 1860's in the Netherlands, and emigrated to South Africa. Any help would be appreciated.
