I will try searching all those name variations. I was primarily using Mathias Janssen, since that was the name he signed his land grant with. I wasn't repeating the search as much as I should. I just need to tie his name with another family member. There were lots of Mathias Janssen's in the US that could possibly work, but I have run into dead ends matching them to his wife so far. That's what makes it fun - the challenge, plus lots of people are so willing to help out.
