Yes, They are the same persons.
Hein van der Mey
born Oosterbierum (municipality Barradeel) may 8, 1869
son of Gerrit Heins van der Mey and Aukje Jans Elsinga
married mun. Barradeel july 8, 1893 to:
Kunskje de Zee
born Tzummarum (mun. Barradeel) jan. 4, 1871
daughter of Cornelis Dirks de Zee and Gerritje Cornelis Proost
They went to the USA twice, because I found them returning from Paterson to Friesland (mun. Barradeel) on feb. 5, 1902. They had the following children with them:
Gerritje (female), born Paterson july 24, 1896
Gerrit (male), born Paterson june 4, 1899
On dec. 29, 1902 they moved to the city of Leeuwarden.
And then they left again in 1909 for the USA.
Prior to their leaving the first time, they had a daughter Gerritje, born mun. Barradeel feb. 22, 1894, who died 3 months later on may 31, 1894.
I am still trying to find when they left for the first time, but the EI database is experiencing some service delays at the moment.
I traced back the family of Hein to a marriage in 1796, so if you are interested, please let me know.
