Hello,
The published Lynn, MA, vital records (Vital Records of Lynn, Massachusetts to the Year 1850, published by the Essex Institute, Salem, Mass., 1905) say that Elizabeth was the daughter of Robert in her marriage record.I haven't seen the original town records, so I can't say that the notation that she was the daughter of Robert was written at the time of the marriage, but it is likely (I emphasize likely!), given my experience with these types of records. Robert Potter was a witness to the will of Thomas Newhall, Sr., in 1668.
