Hi, I'd love to find a little family history. My grandfather came to America from Caltenesseta around the early 1900's. His name was Carmelo. He married my grandmother, Cologera, also from that area. Her maiden name was Panzica. They met and married here, in the Buffalo area, and then finally settled in Detroit. Carmelo was the only one from his immediate family to come to America. I know he had a brother Stefano and sister-in-law Maria - who the American side of the family stayed in contact with. However, that generation is just about all gone now, and I was hoping to make some connections. Any help would be appreciated. My grandmother, Cologera (nee Panzica) came here with her father, Paolo Panzica, mother, Carmela Panzica (nee Alimo), Sister Genny and brother Filipo.
Again - any help would be great!
