Hi:
I am researching my mother in laws family. Her fathers name was Salvatore Nicosia. Her mother was Concettina Criscino. Salvatore came to America in 1907. Salvatore was from a little Town in Sicily called Siracusa Vittoria, Providence of Palermo. He arrived with his family, Angelo, Born in 1885, Uncle Giovanni Battista Battaglia, Ciciulla Filippo was already living here in Conn. The perugia was the ship that they came in on. Salvatore was 30 years old. The address where they went to from the ship was 182 south main St. New Britian Conn. His ship departed from Naples, Campania,Italy. Salvatore arrived with a brother Angelo, and a friend. He was 5'7", with brown hair and brown eyes. He arrived at Ellis Island in March 18,1907, Ellis Island says they are going to New Britian, Connecticut with his brothers. If anyone knows anyhting more about this family please email me. Thank you
Vicki
