Well Joseph if you are in the AF and were in AZ in 2002 it's a good bet you aren't still there now. Hopefully you will still see this message.

I am working on a mystery of my own regarding Margaret Heckler of NY. She married BILZ and had children starting 1905 through 1921. Apparently one of her kids had a best friend named Joseph Nicosia. If I had to guess I'd say it was Henry Charles Bilz because he and Joseph were both born in 1905. Apparently Joseph and Henry's mom Margaret took a liking to each other and they ran off together to PA. They married at some point and had a child named Charles, which again was Henry's middle name. Anyway, there are several obituaries that list Margaret's last name as something different. Bilz (Henry), James (Edwin), Nicosia (Joseph), and Smith. I am told that there was such an uproar over what they did that they changed their name from Nicosia to Smith (in an effort to blend in). If you would like to see these obituaries just let me know. Again, my family (Hecklers) came from Buffalo, NY. I'd love to know if you have any other information about this.
