Excited for you having solved a piece of your puzzle after such a long period of time searching. Alas it appeares that there is still alot to solve here for me. It is very possible that there is a connection for us both some where further back in the european part of our research. As with so many elusive things in life, we keep digging and we will find what we are looking for. As for me I have been against the wall for the Hoffenheim folks. It seem that the 30yrs War did mess things up a bit over there. I have tried going down other lines to see if there was a connection, back further using a common name pattern that might have been passed down, etc. Still hunting. Thank you for replying and good luck on your next piece of the puzzle. If you do happen to come accross any infofor Sebastian Neu 1645-1721 or his wife Magdalena 1648-1714 that goes back further than that I would greatly thank yo for the info/tip. It all helps. Mark
