Susan,

I realized that I also descend from Godfrey Nims in another line...this makes him also my 9C3R (I think)As well as my 9th ggrandfather. It works out like this because Aseneth Denio who married Azarahia were 3rd cousins.

Here is the other was my line goes-

Godfrey Nims
John Nims m. Elizabeth Hull
Rebecca Nims m. Amos Allen
Rebecca Allen m. Seth Denio
Aseneth Denio m. Azariah Corse
Seth Corse m. Harriet Wells
Malcom Corse m. Nancy Holmes
Chancy Corse m. Nellie Belle Seabourne
Phyllis Corse m. Raymend Browne
Shirley Ray Browne m. Hershel Harvey Roberts
Sherrill Roberts m. John Robert Ray, Jr.
Randi Ray (me)

In other words, I come down through Godfrey's daughter, Thankful Nims as well as his son John Nims.

Godfrey Nims
Thankful Nims m. Benjamin Munn
Thankful Munn m. James Corse
Gad Corse m. Mary Wright
Azarahia Corse m. Aseneth Denio

This is where the two lines "meet up" and are the same, the rest of the way down, from Seth Corse on.

Make any sense to you? It's certainly confusing to me.

The Corse family was also present at the Deerfield raid and has some interesting characters and history.

Again, I look forward to hearing back from you and anything that you may can add that you may have from these lines.

Thank you,

Randi (Ray) Smith
