Hello Rose--the answer is that Josiah married Abigail Nims--not really sure how the Stebbins story got into being but it was definitely Abigail who married Josiah and had a large family in Canada--we have quite a bit of info but are always looking for more--I am the Historian of the Nims FAmily Association and Abigail is the next challenge to get her branch organized--so if you are a dewscendant I would love to hear form you--Susan Oathout
