From The Nims Family:Seven Generations of Descendants from Godfrey Nims, page 14 Thankful Nims Munn survied the massacre unharmed. She married Benjamin Munn on January 15, 1702/03. Their first child, Thankful, was born January 12, 1703.Family tradition contends that the new Munn family was living in a half underground house that was built into the side of a hill. Because the deep snow covered over the house, the family was undiscovered by the Indians during the 1704 massacre. Chapter 9 in this book page 295 through 526 is on the Thankful Nims Munn Line. Hope thios will help. J. Graves
