Thankful Nims was the 5th child of Godfrey and Mary Miller Williams Nims. She was born March 14,1686/87Thankful married Benjamin Munn and her sister married Philip Mattoon both on the same day,JAnuary 15,1702.This is just the very begining of the Nims family.There is a book available about the Nims family. The book is titled the Godfrey Nims Family:Seven Generations of Desendants from Godfrey Nims.This book was printed in 1990 and a up date l would think is due soon.lf you are interested in this book you could write to The Nima Family Association P.O. Box 99 Deerfield, Ma01342. Also a reunion is held every 2 years on the even numbered years. l live near Deerfield but have not heard of a reunion yet. l did not care much about this family until very recently when l found i was a desendand and much of their history is in my own back yard.
