A biography/family history of William P. Nims is included in "Montana, Its Story and Biography", Vol 3, pages 1185-1186. Parents: James Not Nims and Hulda Watterman.
On 21 Nov 1888, Jackson Co., IA, William married Miss Harriet Shrigley, born in Jackson Co., IA, daughter of Lee Shrigley. Nims chid: Eugene L, b. 21 May 1890. Harriet died in 1910.
On 14 Dec 1914, William Nims married Josephine Sammon, a native of Maquokita, IA. She proved up a homestead near Ekalaka, MT.
