On 11/20/1868 there was a violent storm in Atlantic County. Two men were killed, George McKinless (a one legged man) and Abijah Davis. I am especially interested in McKinless(sp?) who lost his leg in the Civil War. He was about 40 years old at the time of his death, and worked for about 20 years in Weymouth Works. He was survived by his wife and three small children. I am trying to locate his burial place, and the regiment he served in during the war.
