DeHaven/Atlantic City

I'm looking for the family of DeHavens that descended from Charles D. and his wife Katie in the mid- to late-1800s. They had at least the following children, Vernon J., Mabel, Richard, Robert and Charles (not necessarily in that order).

The elder Charles was born in Pennsylvania, but they lived for a time in Atlantic City, N.J., and some remained there, though at least Vernon moved to Elizabeth, N.J., and later to Essex County, N.J. Vernon was an electrician; his father had worked as a "collecter" for an Amusement Co. in Atlantic City.

Vernon married Hilda (Hildur) Gay, who was born in Elizabeth, N.J. They may have had a son named Alvin and likely other children. Vernon died in 1969, according to the SSDI, but I've never found an obit for him or any of the others. Hilda's mother was my grandfather's sister. Would appreciate ANY information! THANKS! Tom
