The Red Mill was located on the Saddle River in a place also known as Arcola. A reproduction of the original mill now stands at the site at the intersection of Saddle River Road, Paramus Road, Route 4 and Route 208. The area is approximately at the intersection of Saddle Brook, Fair Lawn and Paramus, and more likely that your ancestor lived in Saddle River Township, the name that predated those communities before they became boroughs on their own.
