Was wondering if anyone had any infomation on the Westervelt or Dean Family
My Third G Grandfather Was John Dean b. abt 1806 he married Sarah M Westervelt b. abt. 1816. Their Children were Sarah Martha Dean b. 1836 died 1909. She married William Key my GG Grandfather they had 8 children (william was the Son of Joseph and Margaret all 3 born in England)
Other children that I know of were James Dean b. abt. 1845
Garret Dean b. abt 1846
Elizabeth or Eliza Dean b. 1849 (She Married Henry Radcliff)
All Bergen County. Although John was said to be born in NY.
My Great Aunt told me that they were Bergen County Dutch, not sure I know what that means.
Any Help would be wonderful and I am always willing to share whay I have
