I am trying to find out if there was a Sicilian immigrant family named MONASTIRO that came to America in the mid to late 1800s and settled in Lodi Twp., Bergen Co., NJ. It is said that some of this family are still located in that area. I have not been able to locate this surname. Can anyone help me find a starting place for my research? Thank you for your help.
