Can someone please help me get a copy of a marriage license from 1946 in Englewood, New Jersey? I have checked and have been told that the marriage licenses for Englewood are carried thru the Health Dept. in Englewood. I have verified this with the Health Dept...have been told that there are several requirements to get this license, which I can meet....there is only one that I cannot. I do not know the bride's maiden name. I have the date, etc which I got from the divorce filed and given in another state. Believe it or not, the bride's maiden name was not given on the divorce, she was only listed with her husband's last name (and her first name and initial. Can anyone help me? I would appreciate any help and would be glad to pay someone in Englewood to help me get a copy of the marriage license. Bobbie in Louisiana
