Since your Shannon family was from Ireland, it's quite possible that they may have been Roman Catholic, in which case, they may have been buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery ( formerly known as St. Mary's Cemetery ) located on Marne Highway in Hainesport. There is an online transcription of the headstones, but it has no listings for the surname Shannon, but many of the older graves may not have headstones, as was the case of some of my family who were buried there.
I would contact Sacred Heart Church in Mount Holly--- area code 609-702-1848--- and ask for the cemetery phone number. They were extremely helpful a few years ago in finding the graves of my relatives and sent me a map with directions as to how to locate the graves of my ancestors, even those w/o a headstone. It's worth a try.
If they did attend Sacred Heart Church, the church building would have been located on the same street as the cemetery just a few blocks closer into Mount Holly. A new building for the church was built a few years ago to replace the aging building near the cemetery.
I may be wrong, but I believe that quite a number of houses were torn down on Washington St. many years ago. I remember my grandmother pointing out the location of the one that she was born in that had been among those torn down a few years previous to that, likely in the 1960's or '70's.
