Looking for information on my gg-grandfather, Amos Hampton, born about 1805, probably in New Jersey. Married Elizabeth, born about 1819. Children include Lydia Ann, John, Emaline, William H, and Barclay W.

Amos is known to have lived in Burlington County NJ from at least 1840 to death in 1861, mainly in Pemberton Twp. I have little info before 1840, including parents.

I am a descendant thru Barclay.
