Craft family

I am looking for the parents of Josiah Craft b. Sept. 1787, New Jersey. I believe him to be born in Burlington County. Josiah then migrated to Jefferson County, Missouri where he died in 1861, a wealthy man.

I believe his parents to be Joseph Craft and Esther Ridgway, but I have no proof. I also have a suspicion that he was a Quaker. I understand that if Quakers left their "group" they were kind of disowned and not spoken about again. I believe this is what happened to Josiah.

Josiah had 6 children before his wife died at a young age. Only 3 children survived to adulthood. He is my husband's g-g-great grandfather. I've been searching for over a dozen years, to no avail. Josiah's wife was Ann Weatherby, a half sister to Clement Bell Fletcher, father of former Missouri governor, Thomas Clement Fletcher in the 1860's. I do not know if Ann's maiden name was Weatherby or if she was married before. She was born in Kentucky bet. 1790-1800 and dead by 1830. This is all I have on her.

Could anyone check your resourses for Josiah? He is my brickwall. I am desperate to find more on him. Thanks to all who reply!
