Searching for Joseph C. Farley and his wife, Grisella ? They first appear in the 1850 census (New Jersey, Camden Co., Town of Gloucester). He was born about 1819-1821 and had the following children: Catherine, John, Samuel, Henrietta, William, & Pauline(Jennie). Joseph listed his trade as Master Wheelwright on the 1860 Census in Gloucester City, Camden Co., New Jersey. By 1870 he must have died and his son, John, was there in the same town doing the work as wheelwright/blacksmith. I need information on the birth/death/marriage place of both Joseph and Grisella. Joseph said he was born in England on the 1850 census and New Jersey on the 1860 census. Grisella indicated she was born in Pennsylvania about 1821. On the 1870 Census Grisella was in Philadelphia with the remaining children. She stayed there until I find her on the 1890 census as "widow of Joseph" in St. Louis, Missouri. Does any one know who the father of Joseph might be?
