Dear Folks: I found an old newspaper clipping in a book that lists some marriages and deaths from October 1887, apparently from Camden, NJ. I don’t know the name of the newspaper. Where I show a [?], the newspaper has been clipped off. I do not know what the numbers following each event signifies. I hope they are helpful to someone. Here is the clipping verbatim: MARRIED. BENITE-WEINHEIM. - On October 11th, by Rev. J.J. Sleeper, at his residence, 51 Cooper Street, Camden., Mr. J. BENITE and Miss [?]ILLIE WEINHEIM, both of Philadelphia. *62 BROWNELL – CUTTERBACK. – In West Philadelphia, October 5th, by Rev. J. Jones, D. D., WILLIAM S. BROWNELL and MARY P. CUTTERBACK, both of Clinton N.Y. *454 JOHNSON – MEYERS. – Oct. 15, ’87, y the Rev. John Y. Dobbins, at his residence, No. 508 North Third street, Camden, N.J., Mr. SAMUEL JOHNSON and Miss ANNIE MEYERS, both of Philda. *1058 KAPPEL – VERTZ. – October 15, 1887, by the Rev. John Y. Dobbins, at his residence, No. 508 North Third street, Camden, N.J., Mr. JOHN [?]. KAPPEL and Miss MAXEMELIA VERTZ, both of Philadelphia. *1059 MATHIAS – LONG. – On Wednesday evening, October 12th 1887, at the residence of the bride’s [?]ther, in Norristown, Pa., by the Rev. F. H. [?]oore, assisted by the Rev. W. W. Cookman, Mr. MORRIS H. MATHIAS, of Allentown, Pa., [&] Miss MARY A. LONG, of Norristown, Pa. *293 DIED. ABBOTT. – On the 16th inst., RACHEL A., wife of Nathan S. Abbott. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service, at the residence of her husband, 58 North Twelfth street, on Wednesday evening, 8 o’clock. Interment on Thursday, 1 o’clock, Union M.E. Church, Gloucester county, New Jersey. Train leaves Market Street Ferry at 12 o’clock noon. **122 ABEL. – On the 16th inst., SAMUEL W. ABEL, the 75th year of his age. The relatives and friends of the family, also [?]elcome Lodge, No. 229, I.O.O.F. , Archers’ Association and Fireman’s Relief Association, are respectfully invited to attend the funeral, this (Tuesday) afternoon, October the 18th , at 2 o’clock , [fr]om his late residence, 1811 Van Pelt street. Interment at Mount Peace Cemetery. * ABRAHAMS. – On the 17th inst., FELIX, son of Isaac and Regina Abrahams, aged 20 years. Funeral services will be held on the 19th, at 2 P.M. precisely, at the residence of his parents, 1713 North Thirteenth street. Please omit flowers. **755 ALBURGER. – On the 15th instant., MARY K. ALBURGER, aged 86 years. Funeral services at her late residence No. 2124 [?]enrietta street, this (Tuesday) afternoon, at 1 o’clock. Interment private.
