I was hoping someone may know who ALLIE LOPER's birth parents were. I looked on the 1880 census, but didn't see Allie/Albert posted on there in Salem CO. He was adopted out AFTER the 1880 census was taken in Cape May CO June 22nd to the DAY family.

Allie Loper was born April 6, 1879 in Salem County, NJ. His adopted parents were Samuel L. Day (b. May 1847 NJ) & Lydia (maiden name unknown)(b. March 1850 NJ). Allie married Effie Thompson May 1905 in Cape May County, Erma, New Jersey. Allie grew up in Cape May County & most likely died there as well. The last address I have for Allie was listed on the 1942 WWII Registration Card: Shun Pike Road, Cold Spring, Cape May CO, N.J. Him & his wife had 6 children together. Lydia, George, Reba, Eva, Albert and Carl.
