1920 Census: Enumerated on March 2, 1920; West Cape May Borough, Cape May County, NJ. Resided on Landis Avenue (no house number given). Landis Avenue is a cul-de-sac off of North Broadway in West Cape May. There also was a Mechanic Street in West Cape May during the 1920 Census. But their address is given as Landis Avenue. Also, if you drive west on Elmira Street across the marshes, you will come to West Cape May from Cape May.

Note: Mistakes are made on census records, everything from a name spelling to errors in birth places, birth years, ages, etc. Despite the inconsistencies that you will find on the ones above, these are all of the correct families.
I also found military info. on your wife's grandfather, CHARLES WILEY SWAIN and his son, CHRISTOPHER W. SWAIN, son from his second marriage.

Occupation: He's an engineer, but again I can't read what kind of engineer. But he works for the Cape May Light & Power Company.

CHARLES' description is Medium height, Medium build, Gray eyes and Brown hair.
