Hello Again, IMFYoung,
I just checked something out. Great Egg Harbor back in the late 1600s was a part of Cape May County. About 1694,it became a part of Old Gloucester County. It is possible that your Hawk line came from Gloucester County back then. The area is now Atlantic County.
