I have been working on trying to connect my ggggg-father to his parents, and have had little luck so far. If anyone has any information they can share, I would appreciate it! Here is what I have:
James Wethman
b. 1801, Cape May, NJ
d. 5 Aug 1885 Philadelphia, PA
Married: Phoebe/Phebe -----, 1801/2-26 Apr 1877
Children: Aramathea, Martha, Edward, James, Shadrach, William, Phebe A., and Susan
I have found James in census records from 1830 on, all in PA. I believe he was born in Cape May, NJ, and that he may be connected to the Waithmans of NJ.
