Please help find Tomlinson roots

Anyone who thinks that they may have English roots, especially those who came to America in 1600s or before, please consider joining the Tomlinson DNA project. Some of us already have submitted samples to obtain our DNA records. We need others to do the same so we all may have a better chance in finding our roots. I am asking not only those Tomlinsons who are in the USA but also those who reside in England & Ireland to please submit DNA samples. If we can gather many different samples the more likely it will be that we can find common ancestors. Something many of us are having trouble doing, since the written records of those coming to America in the late 1600s & early 1700s are very incomplete. Take for example any Quaker who came to Pennsylvania, et al, as an indentured servant. Since he was not a "Freeman" he could not obtain a certificate from his old Monthly Meeting. Thus no record of his original residence is made, unless he just happens, by chance, to appear on a ship's passenger list. Not many did.
So please contact FamilyTreeDNA.com It does cost something but it is worth it if you are seriously searching for your T roots or wish to help others find theirs.
Thank you.
