As a hobby, I rescue old photos, documents, & the like, that have identification on them, and then attempt to located family members who would want it.
I have a darling photo of 10 month old, Elsie Elizabeth Tuers. On the back, in pencil is written: "To Aunt Eliza, Elsie Elizabeth Tuers, age 10 months ,Taken Aug. 14, 1901. It was taken in Newark, NJ."
The family is in Essex Co. NJ, during the 1910 census. Father's name is William, mother is Lillian. Elsie has a sister named Helen M. age, 6.
All I ask is what I paid for it, postage the the expense of a sturdy mailer (usually the mailer is less than $1.).
It will keep this treasure safe in the mail.
