As a hobby, I rescue old photos that have identification on them. My goal is to put them into the hands of family.
I recently obtained four photos from an eBay auction. Once I received the photos, I was dismayed that nothing was written on the back. I contacted the seller and she insists that these items are who she said they were.
The first two photos are identified as Ida Klatt and her brother.
Then there is one of a lady in full mourning and is of Ida Klatt Deturk 1912. The last one is a man, the seller identified as John Halstead Deturk. I did some checking in the census and find Ida with Jay H. Deturk. I wrote this information on the back incase it was separated from the piece of paper that the seller sent me.
