1855 State Census of Hudson Co. of New Jersey

Can someone help me understand??

I ordered from Family History Library Catalog on the Interet at

http://www.familysearch.org/eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp

the 1855 state census film of Hudson County, New Jersey (FHL US/CAN Film 865493) for the purpose of searching Jersey City and Communipaw village (which was part of Jersey City by 1855) BUT I could not find Jersey City nor Communipaw village.

For Hudson County state census of 1855, it has:

**11 pages Harrison Election District

**15 pages First Election District which is composed of the First Ward in City of Hoboken

**13 First Election District composed of the Second Ward of Hoboken

**16 pages City of Hudson

**86 pages Third Election District composed of township of North Bergen

**12 pages Third Ward of the City of Hoboken

**29 pages Third Election District composed of Bergen, North Bergen and Harrison.

BUT NO Jersey City! I'm a tab frustrated. Is there some where else I should look for Jersey City/Communipaw district census for 1855???

Sure would love to hear from someone to put a light on this for me.

Thank you, ~Adine from California
