Hello,

David Masterton/Masterson/Mastin was accidentally shot and killed by his wife on July 24, 1855 in Bergen. He resided on Newark Plank Road near Communipaw Rd. He was probably in his mid/late 20's.

By any chance does anybody out there visit Jersey City/Harsimus Cemetery or have read the headstones there to know if he is buried there??

Another possible clue if there is no headstone/record: Is there anybody buried there with a headstone/record with the last name of Masterton/Masterson/Mastin???? I'm thinking of relatives/parents as he was born in NJ and he died fairly young, probably in his 20's.

Thank you for any information or possible clues in helping me find his burial site..
