Does anyone know if the Bethlehem Presbyterian / Grandin Church records still exist? The book "Union Township: Rural Recollections", by Andrew Herdan, published by the Union Township Historical Society in 1988, has a section on this church. There is a reproduction of the title page of the record book, dated 1769, which contains the marriages and baptisms of the members of the congregation. Also shown are a sample page of baptisms and one of marriages. The Hunterdon County Historical Society has microfilmed records of marriages at this church starting in 1850; however, the page from the Session Book starts in 1769. Has anyone out there ever seen a transcription of these records? I did not know that any existed before 1850 until I ran across the book above.
