Bob, Do you know where you got the information that Perth Amboy was called Barber? Now I am really curious! I know about the Barbertown in the Kingwood area. That is named after the line of John Barber of Amwell twp. I do have a Ludlum tid bit. My ancestor John Barber (of Greenwich) had a friend named Ludlum Salmon. Ludlum's mother was a Mary Ludlam (Ludlum) 1 Nathaniel Salmon .+Mary Ludlam b: July 23, 1716 in Goshen, Orange, New York 2 Ludlum Salmon b: Bet. 1749 - 1755 of Greenwich Township, Warren (Now Sussex), New Jersey d: Aft. 1780 .. +Delight Douglas b: Bet. 1749 - 1761 of Sussex County, NJ d: Aft. 1778 Notify Administrator about this message?
