Fred, there is an online list of local names in New Jersey and that's where I found the Barber/Perth Amboy connection. If you want I can send you the address. My Ludlum/Ludlam/Ludlow connection begins in the town of Westfield (then Essex County now Union County). There seems to be a dearth of information on this line. My Tucker family also suffers the same malady. I can't understand why because there were so many of them that you'd think their descendents would be plentiful. Go figure!
