I would like information on the family of Peter H Smith who married Cornelia Ann Beers (1819-1857) in Monmouth Co NJ and had John, 1842, Mary C, 1845, Wm H, 1848, Cornelia Ann, 1850, Peter S, 1852 and four other children who died young.
After Cornelia's death,Peter married Caletia Pembroke in 1860 and moved to Kent Co. Delaware . It looks like he took his sons with them and left the girls in Monmouth Co.
Children with Caletia included Catherine M, 1861, Garrett S, 1862, Elisabeth H, 1864, Ada 1866, Ella Hyre, 1869, Alburton Brant, 1875, Florence 1876, and others.
Can anyone give me information about Peter H Smith's parents? I would also like to know what happened to the sons from the first marriage. Are there any relatives or descendants of Peter H Smith still living in New Jersey?
