Researching the family of Moses R. Holmes, b. 1790 in Monmouth Co. NJ., & Sarah Jeffrey Holmes, b. 1796. The couple were married in NJ and moved to Preble Co. OH. in the early 1830's
In 1833 the couple settled in Cass Co. and in 1838 in Pulaski Co. Indiana where they Moses died in 1853 and Sarah in 1871.
The couples children; Job J., Mary, Catherine, Amy I., Jackson, Segious, John, James R., & Ephraim.
James, Jackson & Amy (Mrs. T.Keys) remained in Pulaski Co. Mary and James married Kistlers of Cass Co.
Anyone researching Moses, Sarah or their children, loved to hear from you. I am especially interested in finding Moses and Sarah's NJ families.
