Looking for information about Matthew S. Ridgway of Danville, PA. He was born March 12, 1820 and married Rachel Whitehead in 1840 in Morristown, NJ.

He was the superintendent of the Montour Iron and Steel Works and Rolling Mills in Danville.

One source states that his father was Matthew Ridgway of Long Island, NY and Pike County, PA and his mother was Elizabeth Ludlow of New Jersey.

His children were Edwin, Stephen, Warren , Laura William and Ulysses Grant. Any information about this family will be appreciated.
