My ancestor, Jacob Mulford wasa born January 15, 1793 in New Jersey, in Morris, Union or Essex County. Jacob married Susan H Meeker in 1816. They had at least 4 children:
William Rheams Mulford in 1823
John Mulford in 1834
Susan Mulford in 1835
Sarah Mulford in 1843
I have been looking for Jacob's parents for years, but have not found much. I've found that his father's name may have been Jeremiah, but do not have Jeremiah's date of birth or his wife's name.
Does anyone know anything about this family? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
