In 1930, William P. and Clara Francisco were located in Elizabeth, Union Co., NJ. This is my first research in NJ so I'm at a loss how to procede.
I found this SSDI item.
Clara Francisco 11 Apr 1893 Jan 1985 Lakewood, Ocean, New Jersey New York (Before 1951 ) 099-01-8395 If I could get a copy or an abstract of her obit, it would help my research.
William was a steam boat captain, finally a master pilot by 1920 and 1930. He was born in Rhinecliff, Dutchess Co., NY to William Taylor and Helen (Elting) Francisco. He was not on the 1900 census that I could find, but he and his wife were on 1910, 1920, and 1930 in NJ.

On the 1930 census, one child was named. She was Helen E. Francisco, 7 years old.
Any leads at all in this would be most appreciated. I will post in Union Co., NJ as well.
